Hope in God's Goodness

Good afternoon VCA family and friends: King David wrote, "I would have lost heart, unless I had believed that I would see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living." Ps. 27:13 We could lose heart. We could give in to hopelessness. But we won't! Why? Because we live with the hope that the Father is always good and that we will see His goodness in our lives and in our communities. Being aware of and constantly thankful for God's goodness is vitally important. It's something we need to protect in our hearts. Due to new state regulations restricting gatherings, I will conduct Jim Smith's graveside service tomorrow with a funeral home representative the only other person present. He will record it so Jan and her family can view it. Please be in prayer for her as she handles grief and disappointment. Sunday morning we will live-stream our service at 10:00. Markus and Tatiana will lead us in worship and I have a word from the Lord for us. We will close with communion. (Have your "bread and juice" ready) Although you can watch the sermon any time during the week, please make an effort to participate Sunday morning. There is something special about knowing our church family is gathering at the same time. You can connect using the link below. Enjoy this beautiful afternoon! PR
